Today is the last day of the month and I need to make something happen! (If you are in sales, you know what I mean.) Business has been off by about 30%. Perhaps, everyone was waiting until the last day of the month to pick out their new ride. Oh well, there’s always next month! I have learned not to sweat it!
Woke up early this morning, enjoyed my coffee and my paper. Attended a local church pastored by an old friend of mine. Then off to the grocery and lunch. I enjoyed the weekend with Michelle, it has been a while since we spent the day together! Thanks Honey!
Michelle and I had some dinner, then caught a flick entitle, “The Departed”. It was a good movie, although it contained a great deal of vulgar language and blood letting. We just returned home and are settling in for the evening. Tommorrow we will drive an hour southeast to visit my sister who just arrived from Orlando.
Last night Ethan’s team won the battle for City Football Champs, in a low scoring game played in the mud. We are very proud of him! Today the wind gusts are supposed to reach around 50 mph with tempatures in the mid 40’s. My mom called and said my sister, will be in from Orlando this afternoon, we will most likely see her on Sunday. The boys are in Columbus this weekend, so Michelle and I will have some time to hang out together. More later
Today ends an era. The last Ford Taurus will roll off the assembly line. Thought you would like to know!
It will be a cold, rainy night, as the hometown rivals, compete in the final game of the season. This is the game all the guys look forward to. City bragging rights for a season. Out running, out hitting, and out playing, their buddies; the guys they will eat “Frickers” with, after the game. Yet, for a couple of hours they lay all of that aside in order to Win.
While posting, I am looking at some books on my bookshelf here’s a few titles….
