Scenes from the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show!
It is an overcast day in Springfield, temperature is in the high 50’s. It is a fairly hectic day at work, I am trying to close out the month on a high note. There are several deals that I am trying to put to bed before Thursday evening. Some are easier than others. Got to go!
I found out yesterday that I had made a very expensive mistake while working a deal on Saturday. About an $1,100 mistake. It was an understandable one, but costly.
We just finished dinner. I have situated myself at my computer in order to write a bit. The boys are in their rooms doing homework, all is still, as we each began to concentrate on the tasks at hand. Suddenly, Michelle comes up the stairs in a frantic pace, she is preparing to work out, and is looking for her Judas Priest, CD. She asks me if I know where it is, and without looking up, my reply, “NO CLUE”! She then turns to Ethan, he shrugs with a negative, and distant, response. Finally, it is Jonathan’s turn for the interrogation; “Jonathan, do you know where my Judas Priest, CD is”? His reply: “Who’s Judas Priest”? Classic!
Pamela Anderson files for divorce from Kid Rock. Say it’s not so!
Vick apologizes for giving the finger to the Atlanta fans! Loser!
Kerry finishes dead last in a likability poll
We spent the day putting up our Christmas decorations, both, inside and outside of our home. The weather was perfect for it! I am not one to rush the season, but I thought I should take advantage of the weather, and the day off. It looks lovely, and when the snow starts flying I will be glad to have everything in place!
The recent, widely publicized, incidents of celebrities, shouting racial slurs, are not rare occurrences. Despite what we want to believe, racism still happens on a daily basis. We have come along way towards Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. dream, yet sadly, there is a long way to go.
