At our house dinner, “supper,” for all of our Southern friends, Has become very repetitive. This isn’t a disapproval of Michelle’s cooking, as we share this responsibility. It is more a matter of simplicity, and convenience. Do you ever get tired of having the same items for dinner every week?

Nice title. I remember that commercial. That little girl had the biggest twang I had ever heard, which is saying something having grown up in Georgia. It would cut through my Southern soul like a knife and made me pray that she wasn’t really from the Land of Dixie!
I wondered if anyone would remember that commercial. By the way, Savannah is on of my favorite cities. Going there in June.
Looks like you guys are cooking from the same menu as we are.
What are you doing in Savannah? Are you going to Tybee? Golfing? I’m south of there, half way between Savannah and Jacksonville.
Yes we do that. But with me it’s more out of laziness.
Terri, I like to try new things when I have the time. But that seems like a rarity lately. I have lost my creativity.
peach pod, I will be in Tampa, then back up to Savannah, and Charleston. I am thinking of retiring in this area. So I stop in whenever possible. Normally stay in the River St. area while in Savannah!
snowman, Barefoot Contessa preaches all meals should be easy to prepare. She’s my girl!
Other places to check out for retirement: Beaufort, SC, Jekyll Island, GA and St. Simons Island, GA.
Thanks for the info.
Your menu sounds similar to ours expect ours doesn’t have the healthy stuff on it.
I’m raising a bunch of picky, picky eaters around here.. just like their mamma!
I would love some variety!
