A “Biker Church” Opens In Springfield, Ohio

Sunday morning, “Takin’ the Streets” Ministries, kick started their new biker church in Springfield, Ohio.  Kenny Ronk, pastor of the new venture, hopes to provide a safe environment for bikers to get in touch with their spirituality, as well as to develop relationships with other local bikers. This mornings service was held at the Springfield Vineyard Church, and bikers were encouraged to “Come as you are!” The event included a church service, lunch, and a bike run later in the afternoon.

Hi Rick. Great article about ‘Takin’ The Streets’ Church. I wish I could have been there for Biker Sunday, but had to be playing Bass with the worship team at ‘our’ church. As you wrote, Kenny is hoping bikers will feel comfortable to ‘come as you are’ for ‘regular’ services, Saturday evenings at 7:00 PM, at the same location (corner of South Fountain and Pleasant Streets). I plan to be in attendance for the first Saturday evening service(June 28).
