Ditto….
Russia already talking about moving missiles, I bet Israel will attempt to attack Iran and then there is this economy… I don’t envy anyone going in at this time..
Just hope we can come together as a country and move forward.
I have a very good feeling about this. We can finally get back to being America again.
The day to day life will go on for a while. The democratic success in the congress has me concerned. When it hits the fan, we’ll know…
“Power tends to corrupt. Absolute power corrupts, absolutely.”
It’s historical. There is much to be done and our next President can only facilitate change. Practically speaking, challenging times are now and in our future, but not as a result of the election. It’s taken many years to get our military into the mess they are in, our economy is an accumulation of our excess personally, corporately, and government fiscally. Yet I am optimistic and enjoyed a wonderful MC ride home from work late last night.
OH its going to be great! I’ve been to the mailbox twice looking for my Redistribution of Wealth check and called the Mortgage company to see if he has paid of my home loan yet.
While I have forebodings about our country’s future, I also am willing to give obama a chance to prove he’ll help and not hurt this country. Time will tell, once thing’s for sure, he can’t blame an antagonistic congress getting in the way of his policies….his party controls both houses!
Sen. McCain gave a great speech after conceding the election, and he’s right, obama will be the president and we need to unite as Americans, no matter which way we voted….like I said, time will tell and hopefully Americans will not suffer a poor president more than four years! I really hope he’s got the country’s best interests at heart.
Then again, there might be a market for bumper stickers that say: “So, how’s that tax cut feel?” : )
I wonder if any conservatives will have the stones to admit they were wrong if Obama succeeds in what he’s said he’ll do. Very few of you have said it of Bush after he betrayed your trust.
Thanks for the great comments. I really appreciate all of your views and the spirit in which they were shared.
Now all of the black kids at school seem to think that since there’s a “brother” in the white house, the entire country is going to go “gangsta”….they have another think coming!
