Well, another year has come to an end, and a fresh start is about to begin. 2008 was a good year for me and KTRSD. I had the opportunity to travel to some great places, meet a lot of new people, and even make a few good friends along the journey! Thanks for taking the time to stop by the site, I really appreciate it!
If you have any suggestions on how I can improve the site (”shut it down” is not a suggestion), or some features you would like to see, feel free to contact me.
All of us will eventually come to “the end of the road“; you know, “head to the big motorcycle garage in the sky“. Well, when that time comes it is nice to know this company; Final Ride has a product for us.
Click on the link then let me know what you think!

Hope you had a great Christmas! This is normally a very good week for the car biz, so I am back at work, and ready to GO. Wonder what this guy will be doing today?

Friday I received February’s edition of rider magazine. Everytime this rag arrives I feel like a kid on Christmas morn. This got me wondering: “If you could subscribe to only one motorcycle magazine, which one would you choose, and why?”

The first day of winter is right on cue, as Springfield is in the deep freeze this Sunday morning. Fortunately, very little snow accompanied these frigid conditions. My plans for this day include…
fire in the fireplace
chili
football (watching)
cigars
beer
movies: Lord of the Rings 1&2.
Have a lovely Sunday! I am most certain I will.

1. Due to icy conditions in the Springfield area, the RT hasn’t left the stable for a couple of days. Recently, while coming home from work, I made a right hand turn, and she slid out from under me, I was unable to hold her up, and down we went! No harm, No foul! We were both fine, and will be back on the road soon.
2. Although the car biz has been great for me this year, I have decided to put my plans to purchase a new KLR on hold. Seems my bride thinks we could use a kitchen upgrade.
3. Here’s a gift idea for the cigar lover in your family. Punch has a three cigar gift pack which includes; 1-Punch Rare Corojo Magnum, 1-Punch Magnum, 1-Punch Gran Puro Rancho. They are packed in a good looking box, and are priced around $12. I picked mine up from my local cigar store, but I am certain they are available on line.
4. A question for those of you who store your bikes during the winter. “How do you keep your battery charged?” Some folks I know remove their battery completely, while others simply keep it on on a trickle charger. How about sharing the method that works for you!

Sometimes I am asked where, I write the posts for my blogs. So today I decided to snap a couple of photos showing you where I write. Nothing fancy, but it works for me.
How about you? Where do you write most of your posts?
