During the hosing, I will attempt to de-bug or at least loosen the really annoying ones. The only reason I wash that often? The oil and fuel that blows out from my carb...drenching my air filter...the air filter needs to be cleaned...might as well pretend to wash the bike at the same time! It does have more chrome on it than I wanted, ahh the sacrifice. I have to polish that too. I do look for the easiest way to get it done though. Spray wax's, good liquid wash etc. I don't think I'll ever be able to just let it go. My bike is pretty new so I have to admit, I do wash it pretty regular.
