   Dear Rick:

   I think they cleaned this wreck up a little, like when they removed the bodies, before putting it on exhibit. As I recall the car pulled out in fron of the bike, which was doing in excess of 90 miles per hour.

   Tragically, it happens.

   Indeed it does. The stories about this accident are making their way around the internet, but the details are much to varied for me to know which version was correct. So I let the photo speak for itself.
