2 Tips For Writing Ride Reports

1.  Don’t write it.  No one cares!

2.  Don’t have just one tip.

I am as guilty as the next person when it comes to thinking someone may be remotely interested in my trip.  Believe me they aren’t!  All of us have seen trees, rocks, bushy tailed squirrels, and twisty roads.  We know what freshly cut grass smells like.  We have felt the wind in our hair, and the occasional bumble bee in our pants (OK, maybe not all of us).  I am glad you had the most sensational ride of your life, I really am, I just don’t want to read about it and I am not alone.

No, I am not trying to mean, and I don’t hate my life.  I am simply a friend trying to save you a little time.  Go ride!

Where Do You Write?

Sometimes I am asked where, I write the posts for my blogs.  So today I decided to snap a couple of photos showing you where I write.  Nothing fancy, but it works for me.

How about you?  Where do you write most of your posts?

A Perfect Day

It has been a cold and rainy day in Springfield, Ohio but I am not complaining. It has been the perfect day to work on my motorcycle blog. Most of the labor has been behind the scenes stuff, not much you can see yet, but I think it was time well spent, and will pay off in the long run.

Winter Reading

A rainy day in Springfield has given me a great opportunity to work on this site. I have been able to take some time to surf the web, and locate other sites that have a passion for motorcycles, and the “ride”. I look forward to reading these blogs in the cold and dreary days ahead.

Ramblings

Hi everyone hope you had a decent day! The Slark tribe just finished watching “House” and have now gone our separate ways (nice while it lasted!).

In recent days real life has kept me busy and mentally fatigued, so I haven’t written much. As the weather becomes colder, I tend to write a little more. I have been tagged by a few folks and haven’t had a chance to engage. Don’t be offended, my lack of attention has no bearing on your importance.

Business has been steady this week and I have about 7 days to pull out some kind of a month. Wish me luck!

Have you ever felt like God has forgotten your name?

A New Site

I have started a new site devoted strictly to my passion for motorcycling. It’s not too exciting at the moment but I will be working on it.

The Death Of Blogs

From time to time I toy with the fact I should shut the old blog down. I mean how many times can I bitch about my job, show you my motorcycle, tell you I cut the grass, or that I kicked the damn dog? Do you really care what I made for dinner, or what the hell the weather is like in Springfield, Ohio? If I decided to shut her down, I certainly wouldn’t be alone! Here’s a good read about the Death of blogs.

Jumping Through The Hoops

Although not an expert blogger, I have been around a while. But I can’t understand why so many bloggers make it so difficult to post a comment. They take the time to write on a subject, often ask for input, then make you jump through the hoops in order to respond. Can someone help me with this?

Rooms Where Writers Write!

This photo is the corner of my world where I write, and share the thoughts flowing in and out of my very tired mind. I love to write in the early morning hours, or late at night. I often light a candle, grab a beverage, and just go for it. Click here to view some of the places famous authors write.
