Vintage Motorcycle Photos

Recently I had the opportunity to view these vintage bikes up close and personal. They are amazing machines, entrusted into the hands of dedicated, and enthusiastic owners.  By now, you are most likely aware that I like all motorcycles, but these ole’ girls, are increasingly finding a special place in my heart!  Click on the photos to enlarge.  Hope you enjoy!

Bike Pic of the Week 1974 Moto Guzzi

Not long ago while visiting one of my favorite BMW stores in Columbus, a couple rode in on this  1974 Moto Guzzi.  They were an older, yet engaging couple, and certainly dressed the part as they toured on this beauty.  They purchased this bike in 1978 and it is only one of the many motorcycles they enjoy owning.

In The Candy Store

I had occasion to stop into the MC repair shop this week and saw this Moto Guzzi being worked on.  I so enjoy going into this shop because the owner always has a garage full of interesting motorcycles, all at various states of repair.  I am like the proverbial  kid in a candy store, so many designs so many colors, I am surprised I haven’t been kicked out yet.  For some reason I have always loved the Guzzi  and I fell hard for this one,  I would love to have purchased her  and given her a little TLC, but the bikes owner would hear none of it!
