Our Place is a brand founded by WOC that offers inventive cookware and kitchen products. You can braise, sear, steam, strain, sauté, fry, boil and more with this pan. It does the same job as a frying pan, sauté pan, steamer, skillet, saucier, saucepan, non-stick skillet, spatula, and spoon rest. The spatula is designed to perfectly fit the handle of the pan. The pan is dishwasher safe and weighs just 3 pounds.
Long but interesting and promising review: “I bought this skillet, not sure if it lived up to the hype. Yes, it was cute (I got the color green to match my kitchen color scheme) but I bought a lot of cute millennial brand products that turned out to be of any style and no substance. How good could that be? It’s phenomenal. I had it three weeks ago and since then the only time I have used a different pan was when the Always pan was already in use for one dish and I needed to cook something else. The non-stick coating is great. Eggs don’t stick! Dried sauce does not stick! Yesterday’s oatmeal doesn’t stick! Everything almost erases without scrubbing which is great because I don’t want to put this pan in the dishwasher because what if I need to cook something ?! The surface of the pan heats up very quickly! I cooked on my normal boring stove and was shocked at how much faster the water in my pasta came to a boil. The surface of the pan also heats up very evenly and is amazing to sear. I cooked steak there last night, hoping I wasn’t wrong using nonstick instead of melting, but itgave the steaks a crisp searing, so much more than my cast iron skillet. I was super impressed. I love the built-in spatula rest. So much. My only comment on the pan is that the hole in the spatula could be just a hair’s breadth bigger, so it doesn’t require any leverage to remove it from the rest, but a very minor complaint. I love the steamer basket / colander. Haven’t used it for steaming yet, but love it for pasta. It’s so much easier to remove all the pasta and leave the pasta water behind than it is to carry the whole pot of boiling water to the sink to pour it in, all the while being terrified that one of my cats come over and splash boiling water on them or something. Love the lid, especially the steam release feature. It’s really great for cooking cereals. Basically this casserole is totally worth what you spend on it. I’m moving in six months and plan to donate most of my kitchenware when I do. Very confident that you won’t miss a thing with this pan. “—Abigail R.
