Changes to the government’s travel system went into effect this week.
There is now a new, simplified two-tier travel rules system, with the Amber and Green Lists being removed completely.
There is only one list of red “no-go” countries. Travelers arriving from a redlisted country must still self-isolate in a government-mandated quarantine hotel for 10 days upon their return to the UK.
Testing and isolation restrictions have eased for most vaccinated passengers visiting countries not on the red list.

In the latest travel system update, the 54-person redlist is expected to be drastically reduced in the next review, according to The Telegraph.
South Africa, Brazil, Mexico and Indonesia are expected to move to the green list starting this week, with the red list being reduced to just nine countries.
Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania and Bulgaria are not on the red list of countries.
So doubly vaccinated vacationers can fly to these countries and face fewer testing and isolation restrictions.
