Bombay: The Maharashtra Government’s Industrial Safety and Health Directorate even trained the statewide MahaMARG group to work on post-Covid 19 safety and training programs.
The program launched by the Directorate of Safety and Health of Industry (DISH) called “Mutual Aid Intervention Group” (MARG) has grown significantly since Covid 19. MARG which was launched by DISH under the Maharastra government to provide emergency aid to factory workers has worked hard to ensure the safety and health of factory workers in all sectors.

It has grown significantly since the Covid 19, safety being a priority. We apply the provisions of the Factories Act taken for the safety and health of workers. While it is the duty of factory owners to keep the factory in a safe condition, the government also enforces the law and provides industry safety and health training. As part of MARG, we organize a training program for workers in reactors, industrial electrical safety, chemical plants, contained industry, machine protection, etc. Not only that, we have created a group for the whole of Maharastra called MahaMARG.
MahaMARG is a state government formed WhatsApp group with factory owners, health and safety trainer to share and train workers to keep them safe and healthy.
