Revolt Motors announced today that its latest batch of electric motorcycles are ready to ship from the company’s factory
One of the fastest growing electric two-wheeler brands in India, Revolt Motors is struggling to keep up with demand. Reservations for their electric motorcycles are currently closed because they have already received enough orders and the company does not want to collect huge reservation orders which will only result in a huge waiting period for customers.
Instead, Revolt opens reservations every few weeks, collecting enough orders to be able to meet demand at the moment. The last time reservations for Revolt electric motorcycles were opened was about 3 weeks ago. The demand was such that within 2 hours the company had to close the reservation window. In that short window, they collected orders worth Rs 50 crore.
New batch ready to ship
There is no update as to the reopening of reservations. But there is good news for those awaiting delivery of their Revolt electric bike. The latest news from Revolt Electric is that the new batch of RV300 and RV400 electric motorcycles are now ready to ship to dealers. The existing dealer network is located in the cities of Pune, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai.
Revolt has not communicated the exact number of electric motorcycles that will be delivered in the last batch. Owners awaiting delivery can check progress through the new VOLT feature. Revolt has launched the VOLT feature for buyers awaiting delivery. Thanks to this, waiting buyers can follow the progress of their electric bike from reservation to delivery.
Thanks to rising fuel prices and updated FAME-II policy, there is renewed interest in electric vehicles across India. If that wasn’t enough, some state governments are adding even more benefits. For example, Gujarat recently announced additional benefits for buyers of electric vehicles. This has allowed buyers of Revolt motorcycles to enjoy benefits of up to Rs 68,000 in the state.
