The chain, known for its goblet drinks, decadent sundaes and lavish entrees, is tentatively set to open its new location in downtown Indianapolis in late spring 2022.
In an email, Sugar Factory partner Larry Rudolph said the Indianapolis family community made it the perfect fit for a Sugar Factory location.
The restaurant will occupy a Circle Center Mall location at 49 W. Maryland Street, a location that Formerly belonged to the now closed Palomino Restaurant & Bar.
“The restaurant is much more than a candy store or an average American brewery,” said Rudolph, touting the restaurant as the ultimate celebration destination for guests of all ages. “Sugar Factory offers an exciting, immersive and memorable experience for all occasions.”
Celebrities such as sisters Kardashian and Jenner, 50 Cent, DJ Pauly D, Amber Rose, Nick Cannon and the Chainsmokers have all been spotted in Sugar Factory stores for celebrations or grand openings or affiliated with the chain.
The restaurant even has a celebrity blog on his website where you can follow the Kardashians, find out who is the latest celebrity to visit a Sugar Factory store, or get details on Scott Disick’s latest relationship.

“Customers can expect an immersive experience from the moment they step into Sugar Factory,” said Rudolph. “The expansive space is filled with Instagrammable moments, from large flower walls to video walls and other colorful settings.”
The 9,657 square foot restaurant will have an indoor dining room with 184 seats, a bar that can seat 12 people, as well as an outdoor patio that can seat 32 people.
Next to the main dining room is the Pretty in Pink Café, which Sugar Factory describes as a colorful and vibrant space where guests can sip coffee and munch on candy. The cafe features three-dimensional floral ceilings, neon signs and a heart-shaped wall of candy.
It’s “perfect for posing,” Randolph said in the emailed statement.
Sugar Factory’s signature entrees include rainbow sliders, small sandwiches topped with American cheese, crispy onions and a signature sauce between colorful buns. The dish comes with a Sugar Factory rubber duck that you can take home.
Another popular dish is the Big Cheesy Burger, which is topped with melted white cheddar cheese and mac and cheese. The restaurant also serves pan-roasted beef entrecote with Havarti cheese.
The menu at Sugar Factory in Indianapolis will also include lavishly decorated milkshakes in chocolate covered mugs and colossal desserts such as King Kong Sundae – 24 scoops of ice cream that can feed up to 12 people.
Along with over-the-top entrees and desserts, adult guests can accompany their meals with alcohol-infused beverages served in oversized smoking candy tumblers.
