Uniroyal Tires has relaunched its commercial truck portfolio with the introduction of three tire offerings in the United States
The new lines – the Uniroyal LT2 Line Haul Trailer tire, the RS2 Regional Steer tire and the RD2 Regional Drive tire – have been designed with the performance needs of customers in mind, company officials said in a press release. .
The LT2 Line Haul Trailer tire is available in standard and low profile sizes for 22.5″ and 24.5″ rim diameter. The RS2 Regional Steer and RD2 Regional Drive tires will be available at the end of July at Uniroyal dealerships. The RS2 and RD2 will have extended sizes in the 19.5″ and 17.5″ rim diameters to support last mile delivery fleets.
“This new update to our lineup is aimed at the cost-conscious buyer who is looking for the reliability, durability and value of their tires from a trusted brand,” said Coy Jones III, Michelin’s senior marketing manager. The company has also redesigned its website to make it easier for customers to find resellers offering the new products.
Additional products will arrive later in the year to meet fleet positioning needs for line haul tires and on- and off-road commercial truck tire applications.
